About TBAGS

Tokyo Beer And Golf Society
Est. 2015 • Tokyo, Japan
TBAGS is a social golf society based in Tokyo, Japan. Founded in 2015, we bring together golf enthusiasts from around the world for banter, friendly fun, drinking, and golf. In that order.
Whether you're a single-digit handicapper or just getting started, TBAGS welcomes golfers of all skill levels. Our events combine great golf with great company, and our legendary après-golf gatherings at the 19th hole are just as important as the competition itself.
First Rule of TBAGS: One beer before teeing off on the first hole. Unless you're driving. Drink first, then golf.

Race to Miyazaki
Our season-long championship where players accumulate Stableford points across all official events. The top performers at year's end earn their place on the exclusive trip to Miyazaki Prefecture, home to some of Japan's finest resort golf courses.
Points are awarded based on your Stableford score at each event. Your best results count toward the final standings, encouraging participation throughout the season while rewarding consistency.
The Jackets
Inspired by golf's greatest traditions, TBAGS awards two prestigious jackets at each event:

The John Daly Jacket
Awarded to the player with the most Stableford points on the day. Named after the legendary “Wild Thing” himself.

The Elton Jacket
Awarded to the player with the lowest gross score of the day. Evens the playing field for scratch golfers. Fabulous, darling.
